The effects of practice are yet to be determined. But, following future investigation, I'll publish my findings.
As far as the putting goes, I started with 7 putts in the first 6 holes. The 3-putt would be considered regression to the mean. But, I think your observation is brilliant.
On the 6th hole, I had a five footer left for par, and I asked, "is this good?” They laughed, and then I proceeded to make it, with no doubt as to the outcome. Then, one said, "Now you're just showing off!" It's fun when the TX wedge gets hot.
I reckon your answer would be "Half empty and evaporating as we speak!"
