Within the context of my video message to my player, I stand by my statement in the video that the combined pivot and arm swing constitute the 'basic motion' of the stroke -- its "fundamental nature" -- knowing full well that a strict TGM definition would label the degree of motion as Second Stage (Acquired) or even Third Stage (Total). Your confusion does make an important point: What we call things matters. If we can't agree on what our words mean, what chance do we have communicate? I still am wondering - to what use do we that are not injured have from this video - apart from the drag loading part? Are these motions important in the total swing? What about the lifting of the heels? Or is this just for an injured with less mobility? As former stated - it gave a good feeling - well worth keeping as something to build on? Or not. __________________ Air airair View Public Profile Send a private message to airair Find all posts by airair
