We last worked in July 2009 at Loch Lomond, Scotland, the day of the pro-am for The Barclays Scottish Open. There were three other executives involved. I don't remember their names, but each began with . . .
Sir.
Before that, it was a couple of days at Cuscowilla, just before an outing with Phil at that little club 90 miles or so down I-20 in Augusta.
And before that, it was a couple of years working at The Barclays (inside our Academy and in the short game areas) during the tournament. In that setting,
Jeff and
Ted -- I call in all the Big Guns! -- each trained their intellect and camera on him and gave their all 'for the gipper'!
At Loch Lomond, Bob returned from a round and approached me in The Barclays pavilion off the 18th green. There he uttered the words most precious to any golf instructor:
"I played great today. Thank you."
