We last worked in July 2009 at Loch Lomond, Scotland, the day of the pro-am for The Barclays Scottish Open. There were three other executives involved. I don't remember their names, but each began with . . .

Sir.

Before that, it was a couple of days at Cuscowilla, just before an outing with Phil at that little club 90 miles or so down I-20 in Augusta.

And before that, it was a couple of years working at The Barclays (inside our Academy and in the short game areas) during the tournament. In that setting, Jeff and Ted -- I call in all the Big Guns! -- each trained their intellect and camera on him and gave their all 'for the gipper'!

At Loch Lomond, Bob returned from a round and approached me in The Barclays pavilion off the 18th green. There he uttered the words most precious to any golf instructor:

"I played great today. Thank you."

AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am / Final Results
Brian Gay fired rounds of 66-73-69-69=277, finished T-16 and earned $93,000. That gives him $296,436 for the year in four events. Nice start!

Meanwhile, Blake Adams, the 34-year old 2009 Q-School graduate who grew up and plays out of The Golf Club at Cuscowilla, had another fine tournament. He shot 65-74-66-71=276, finished T-10 and earned $137,433. Blake's fine performances thus far -- $183,999 in four events -- will stand him in good stead during the first reshuffle. I've attached below a photo of Blake and me taken on the practice tee just before the final round of the 2010 Sony Open. We had last seen each other on the practice tee at Cuscowilla, 4,559 miles away! http://www.indo.com/cgi-bin/dist?pla...Honolulu%2C+HI

Jay Williamson fired rounds of 70-70-69-76=285, earned $13,392 and finished T61.
