Yoda, what do you feel about the "level hip turn"? In the MacDonald drill the figures knees are very similar height ...no dipping of the left knee....left and right hips appear similar level....Sam Snead mentions level knee at the top of backswing in his book " How to Play Golf" ( 1946).... does "level knee action" lead to "level hip turn"???

Yes, the Hip Turn will be "level" when the Knee retains its Address degree of bend. Any straightening of the Knee (Right Knee on the Backstroke and Left Knee on the Downstroke) will tilt the Hip in the direction of the straightened Knee (7-16).
